Reinforced Records
Reinforced Records is a British breakbeat hardcore, Jungle, and Drum and Bass record label, first founded in 1989 in Dollis Hill.
The label’s founding members Ian Bardouille, Gus Lawrence, Dennis "Dego" McFarlane and Marc Mac were also members of ‘4Hero’.
Goldie, music producer and DJ, also joined the label between 1992-94.
‘Parallel Universe’ was 4Hero’s second album which was released under the Reinforced label in 1994 to high critical acclaim. In 1998, 4Hero went on to win the MOBO Awards for Best Drum and Base Act, with the album ‘Two Pages’.

During the peak of the rave years of the early 1990s, the label was prolific in its output, releasing singles such as ‘The Head Hunter’ and ‘Cooking Up Yah Brain’ by 4Hero, ’Feel Real Good’, ‘Oblivion (Head in the Clouds)’ and ‘Rainbow People’ by Manix (Marc Mac), ‘Kingdom of Dub’ by Tek 9 (Dego), ‘Seance’ as well as ‘Atheama’ by Nebula II, and ‘A London Sumtin’ by Code 071.
